MOBILE APP STrATEGY

TRANSLATING YOUR APP IDEA
TO AN MVP
The road from great idea to successful app begins with a comprehensive mobile app strategy. At Orogamis, the start of a mobile app strategy begins with research. Who will use this app? Where will they be during use? What are the real-life value-adds this app will offer? Who else is doing what we aim to do? How can we make it better? We collect our research, genius and insights for a multi-day discovery session with your stakeholders.

During discovery (Philz coffee and lunch on us), we align your idea with both user needs and business goals. Together, our key-people and your stakeholders eye concepts from every angle looking for opportunities and epiphanies, those aHA!-moments that make discovery both fun and crucial to an app's success. So what do we find during these hours together? What do we discover during discovery? For us it’s finding your MVP, minimum viable product. An MVP sits at the cross-section of the user’s value proposition and your business needs; it’s the first app iteration we design, build and launch for marketplace feedback.

Once we find and define your MVP, someone from the back yells out, “Eureka! We found it!” And we all take a break for Sprinkles Cupcakes. However, in the instance we do not end our journey at the at golden intersection of user-value and business goals we pivot. Not to worry, pivoting is so common in Silicon Valley startups there should be a dance move named after it.

After we finish our celebratory cupcakes we have officially reached the end of our app strategy phase. Here stakeholders are happily aligned with project goals and the MVP. Our designers are on deck getting their creativity in flow for a hot new project.
